Customers have demanded new audio enhancements, so AJA have delivered expanded support for 4K/UltraHD and HDR Workflows. AJA’s free Desktop Software v14 comes with new features that simplify 4K/UltraHD and HDR workflows and provide exciting new audio capabilities. The free update allows adjustable audio monitoring between professional timeline audio, host system application audio and microphone inputs. It also supports full duplex, ultra low latency voiceover/audio punch-in to the timeline using either digital or analogue audio inputs. Plus AJA’s Control Panel and Control Room software both support intuitive configurations for 12G/6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 when used with Io 4K Plus.

Ki Pro Ultra Plus v2.0 Firmware – Available October 2017 with FREE firmware
HLG and HDR 10 Playback over HDMI 2.0 is simple these days, as is getting great support for ProRes 4444 XQ. New v2.0 firmware for the Ki Pro Ultra Plus multi-channel HD recorder and 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD recorder/player enables the latest HDR formats with HLG and HDR 10 playback support, with infoframe metadata over HDMI. It also introduces support for recording and playing ProRes 4444 XQ up to 2K60p, just one of a suite of desirable feature enhancements.
