Providing the ultimate in sound quality at an astounding cost per channel price, the Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD is intended for the Pro Tools HD user in need of a multi-channel audio interface. Apogee’s Symphony I/O Mk II HD can link directly to your Pro Tools HDX, Pro Tools HD Native or Pro Tools Core/Accel systems, whether using a Mac or PC based studio.

Each of the Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD’s I/O modules is visible and performs in Pro Tools HD as if it were a separate Avid HD I/O interface. In fact, as an interface for Pro Tools HD, the Symphony I/O Mk II HD can be made use of alongside or in place of Avid or Digidesign. As result, you can capitalise on important Pro Tools features such as sample-accurate delay compensation – and installation is also simple.

Empowering you with extra channels without unnecessary additional rack gear, a single Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD unit can have up to 32 simultaneous analogue I/O. If that’s not a sufficient bounty of channels, with one Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD per every Pro Tools HD port in your system you can operate multiple units simultaneously. The Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD’s front panel touchscreen makes regulating your I/O easy.

In terms of analogue inputs, the Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II HD provides eight built-in preamps, four Hi-Z ¼” jack inputs, selectable 48V phantom power with soft limit and phase invert and eight balanced inputs on 1 DSUB 25-pin connector. Digitally AES-EBU, optical, ADAT, SMUX and S/PDIF are all provided. The same can be said of the digital outputs, as well as eight analogue balanced outputs on one DSUB 25-pin connector.

  • Best performance of any multi-channel Pro Tools HD interface
  • Best cost per channel value of any Pro Tools HD interface solution
  • Connects directly to any Pro Tools HD system (Mac or PC)
  • Emulates Avid HD I/O interface, including sample-accurate delay compensation
  • Connect multiple units in a single system (1 unit per HD port)
  • Easy I/O calibration with front panel touchscreen
