The dual power supply unit has two mains supply inputs with a monitoring output via a DB9M connector covering mains and timecode events.

The Alice timecode distribution amplifier is a 19” rack mounted unit provides longitudinal timecode via a mixture of connection combinations up to twelve outputs in two groups of six. Each group of outputs are adjustable via a front panel multi-turn potentiometer.

The front panel has a two bi-coloured LEDs showing green when both main’s supplies are present which turn red when one of the supplies fails. There is also a green LED which illuminates when timecode is present. A large illuminated LCD display shows timecode in real-time. The display can also be programmed to show your company name or other message on boot-up. These options can be requested at the time of ordering.

In addition, if a mains supply fails or the incoming timecode signal is lost, volt free contacts change-over between the normal and failed state.

Uses include, on-location shooting with PSC cameras and portable audio mixers that require a jammed LTC timecode signal, outside broadcast trucks or fixed installations that require timecode to be sent to vision mixers, EVS, audio mixing desks and studio clocks etc.
