-Sennheiser Control Cockpit Release 2.0.0

Sennheiser are pleased to announce the updated Sennheiser Control Cockpit Release 2.0.0.

Key feature enhancements include:

  • ewG3 compatibility
  • ewG4 compatibility
  • Design update
  • Password protection
  • User registration updates.

The revised app is now available online for download on the SpeechLine Digital Wireless and evolution Wireless G4 (300 Series) product pages as well as in the Download section. Current users with a host-pc that have internet access will get an on-screen notification to update.

 

-WSM 4.4.3 update

Sennheiser has released Wireless Systems Manager 4.4.3, a software update for Windows and Mac platforms.

The update features:

  • Support of new frequency range L-US for SKM 5200-II, SK 5212
  • Support of new frequency range A5-A8 US for SK(M) 6000 and SK(M) 9000
  • Support of new frequency ranges Gw1 and Aw+ for Series 2000
  • Compatible with macOS Mojave
  • Performance improvements
  • Bug fixes

 

-New: Neumann.Control app for KH 80 DSP studio monitors

Neumann is announcing the first release of Neumann.Contol, a software that will give full access to all the functions of the KH 80 DSP Studio Monitor via standard IP networking that were not previously available via the back panel. Loudspeaker systems can be defined, from mono to 3D, aligned for a good in-room sound, and then operated centrally.

-Sennheiser and Neumann at AES

The AES opened its doors in New York on 17 October, marking AES’s 70th anniversary and Neumann.Berlin’s 90th company anniversary,  which was amply reflected on the joint stand with Sennheiser.

New products included:

  • The Neumann.Control for KH 80 DSP
  • The Sennheiser evolution wireless G4/KK205
  • Visitors could also take a first look at the Sennheiser SK 6212.
  • Sennheiser demonstrated spatial audio solutions for capture, mixing, processing, and playback.

Visitors were impressed with Final Stop – a 3D thriller produced earlier this year with the AMBEO Smart Headset. Mixing VR with virtual movements and tools – this exciting possibility offered dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT, a brand-new VR application launched by Sennheiser partner ‘Dear Reality.’

 

-“Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains” in Dortmund!

Pink Floyd fans are invited to relive the band’s 50-year history in a spectacular multimedia exhibition: After celebrated runs in London and Rome, “Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains” can now be experienced in Dortmund until 10 FEB 2019. Sennheiser provided the state-of-the-art audio guide system that does justice to the band’s legendary sound concepts.
The exhibition’s highlight is the Immersive Performance Zone: A 17-channel AMBEO 3D remix of “Comfortably Numb” puts visitors right in the middle of Pink Floyd’s 2005 legendary live reunion performance.
