AIDA Imaging has recently begun shipping its highly anticipated 3G-SDI cameras. While AIDA has consistently offered SDI cameras within their range of POV (Point of View) and PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras, they have historically been best known for their NDI® HX camera offerings. The New HD3G-IPC Series Models

The HD3G-IPC series features four new models, each building on the success of their previous bestsellers. The new lineup includes:

Advanced Features and Improved Workflow

All four models in the HD3G-IPC series deliver Full-HD output via 3G-SDI. They come equipped with a 3.5mm audio input, an RS-485 connection for control, and RJ45 ports that provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) and IP control. The inclusion of RJ45 ports simplifies and modernises workflows by allowing the cameras to be output, controlled, and powered through just two cables.

Superior Alternatives to Competitors

For those familiar with Marshall Electronics’ CV228, AIDA’s HD3G-IPC-MINI offers a superior alternative. It boasts similar specifications but includes the added benefits of PoE and IP control, and it comes at a more affordable price.

The HD3G-IPC-100A and HD3G-IPC-IP67 take it a step further, outpacing Marshall’s CV504 and CV504-WP. They not only include the same enhancements seen in the other model but also upgrade the M12 lens to a CS lens. This upgrade allows more light to reach the sensor, resulting in significantly better picture quality.

Introducing the HD3G-NDI-200: Bridging SDI and NDI® HX

Parallel to the HD3G-IPC series, AIDA has also released the HD3G-NDI-200, a model that leverages the power of both SDI and NDI® HX. This new camera provides simultaneous Full-HD outputs, allowing users to enhance their established SDI workflows with PoE+, and AIDA’s reliable IP streaming and NDI® HX for program, preview, or control. 

AIDA have released their own free to download Windows application that allows AIDA camera control with Visca Over IP, allowing execution of complex commands with simple buttons. The application is compatible with the new POV SDI cameras, the full range of POV NDI cameras as well as AIDA’s PTZ cameras.

Based on the popular HD-NDI-200, this new model replaces the HDMI port with a 3G-SDI port. The HD3G-NDI-200 stands out as one of the smallest form factor dual SDI/IP broadcast-grade cameras in the market, emphasising cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
