Focusrite RedNet AM2 Dante Stereo Monitor Unit
Stereo Monitoring Unit for audio-over IP
RedNet AM2 is a Dante-compatible stereo monitoring unit combining headphone and line outputs for flexible monitoring of signals sourced from the Dante network.
Focusrite's RedNet AM2 is a Dante-compatible stereo monitoring unit amalgamating headphone and line outputs for flexible monitoring of signals sourced from the Dante network. The AM2 includes a 14" front-panel headphone socket, integrating a 2-channel Dante receiver founded on state-of-the-art ‘Ultimo’ hardware and premium digital conversion, as well as a duo of balanced line outputs with male XLR connectors mounted on the rear panel, for loudspeaker monitoring and other applications.
The AM2's headphone output doesn’t struggle to drive high-impedance headphones at substantial levels thanks to its significant audio output power. Two large volume control knobs correlate to Headphone and Line output levels; the latter also has a mute button and associated LED. Other indicators display the presence of power, network and signal.
The Focusrite AM2 is housed inside a portable aluminium extrusion-based enclosure and fitted with non-slip feet. The unit sits safely on top of a flat surface or can be mounted to the top of a mic stand using a standard threaded bush in the base.
The unit is capable of being powered either via PoE or the 12V DC input barrel connector (universal power supply included). Dual etherCON connectors connect to your network and permit daisy-chaining to additional network devices.
