TC Electronic Multichannel Reverb

System 6000 Multi-Channel Reverb Software License

TC Electronic > Digital Effects Processors > Licenses

Stock: 2-3 days

This license includes everything from the Stereo Reverb license - plus all LtRt, Quad Mono, 5.1 and 6.1 reverb and delay algorithms from TC. It also gives access to SpacePan, and every reverb and delay preset in the machine, including the complete Halls of Fame bank and the Skywalker Sound Collection.

Reflector 6

Reflector is a versatile Delay and Boundary effect for multichannel applications. Output configurations are optimized for LCR, Stereo or Mono production. Advanced features such as individual EQ and multiple layers of
Diffusion, makes Reflector capable of crossing the border between Ambience, Early Reflections, Reverb and Delay-effects.

Reflector is able to generate plain delays, realistic ambient locations, and with the long delay-times and diffusion available, it can also simulate the large outdoor locations sought after in film- and post production. Environments such as Streets, Canyons, Forests etc.

On top of this, Reflector enables the creation of wild surround effects, making complex delay patterns for music and film production etc. Effects can easily be edited, mirrored and auditioned on the fly to allow the user to be part of an inspirational effect design process.

SpacePan

SpacePan is an eight input to 5.1 panning algorithm, which is a level and delay controller for real-time positioning and movement of sources.

VariPitch 8

As a result of intelligent splicing, the algorithm may be used for demanding applications like real-time pitch change of entire 5.1/7.1 stems when converting frame rates between video and film (25 to 24 fps. and vice versa).

Channels may be locked in various ways to preserve phase relationship while applying pitch change. This feature is in high demand - and currently not available in 5.1 - for telecine, film and post processing. The up and down pitch range is +/-200 cents.

VSS™SR

The VSS™SR (Surround) algorithm is a unique room simulator for matrixed surround production. The diffused field of the simulation is turned into an Lt /Rt signal with separate Decay, Level and Pre-delay parameters for front and rear.

The output of the simulator is compatible with mono, stereo and matrixed surround reproduction. When used for surround production a surround encoder is not needed, but monitoring should be done through a Dolby ProLogic™ compatible decoding system.

VSS-5.1 Source

The "VSS ™5.1 Source" is a true 5.1 Room Simulator. Multi-directional Early Reflection patterns and five uncorrelated Reverbs are integrated in this algorithm. There are several ways of incorporating the Center channel including TC ’s phantom simulation.

VSS ™5.1 Source or Room Simulation has four discrete Input sources, each with their own precisely defined Reflection properties that can be individually positioned in the sound field using the touch screen of the Icon.
Imaging and room properties typically sound more natural than if a certain event is subjected to the compromises of distant miking, imperfect rooms, arrays of microphones and finally the end listeners’ speaker configuration.

The Early Reflection patterns maximize localization and widen the sweet spot. Consistent location, even outside the speaker arrays, can be obtained. Perfect fold-down to matrixed surround, stereo and mono is ensured thanks to the fully uncorrelated rendering used in VSS ™5.1 Source.

VSS™ 6.1

If you need to add reverb to an existing 5.1 or 6.1 signal or move sources around with a joystick, VSS ™6.1 Reverb is your algorithm. It features multi-directional reflection patterns and five uncorrelated everbs. Positioning can be done from your console, our external joystick and from the TC Icon touch screen.

As a request from mastering engineers, the LFE signal is passed through unprocessed but time-aligned with the 6 main channels. Several ways of incorporating the Center channels are offered including TC ’s phantom simulation. Perfect fold-down to matrixed surround, stereo and mono, is ensured thanks to the fully de-correlated rendering used in VSS ™6.1 Reverb. You can even specify different decay times per channel.

VSS-M4

Multiple mono reverbs may often be more useful than pre-configured structures for stereo, 5.1, 6.1 etc. The M4 algorithm offers 4 discrete mono reverbs with 4 in and 4 out in one Engine.

M4 reverbs can be used in multiple mono configurations, where the effect has to end up in predictable places, or combined to cover arbitrary multichannel configurations like 7, 10 or even 16 main channels with different settings, all within one Reverb 6000 frame.
