ESV Kick-Ass at the Movies!

Eastwood Sound and Vision have recently supplied Digidesign Pro Tools HD Accel systems to the following productions of Kick-Ass (HD5 Accel), Ricky Gervais’ Cemetery Junction and Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (both HD3 Accel).

Written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, Cemetery Junction is set to be released on 2 April 2010.

Set in the 1970s in Reading, Berkshire, where Gervais himself grew up, it follows two twenty-something’s who work as building society clerks. According to Gervais, it is a "coming of age" story that is a cross between The Office and Mad Men.

Kick-Ass is an upcoming superhero film based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn, and will premiere April 16, 2010.

In Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, Oscar®-winning actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson returns to the role of the magical nanny who appears when she's needed the most and wanted the least in the next chapter of the hilarious and heart-warming fable that has enchanted children around the world.
