Sennheiser is a manufacturer of high quality microphones and headphones.  Originally called Lab W, founded in 1945, Fritz Sennheiser created the DM1 microphone on request from Siemens.  In 1947, Lab W registered as a radio mechanic business and developed its first originally designed microphone, the DM2.  Shortly after designing the ‘interference tube’ microphone for TV and film, the world’s first shotgun microphone, Lab W changed its name to Sennheiser Electronics and so started their rise to glory.

Today, Sennheiser is a global corporation and manufactures some of the highest quality wired and wireless microphones as well as pioneering radio microphones for the live, TV and film industries.  The Sennheiser shotgun microphones are arguably some of the greatest sounding long range mics the industry has to offer today, with their clarity only matched by their rear and side rejection for a focused pick-up area.  The range of lapel mics that Sennheiser have to offer are of a similar quality, with their small discrete footprint for easy, non-intrusive attachment to clothing and their vocal-primed sonic characteristics.  The range of dynamic vocal mics available from Sennheiser bring all the quality and innovative design the brand are known for to the live stage, offering robust, wireless and cost effective solutions for the performing musician.

The AVX range is the new standard in wireless microphone technology for the video production and videography industries. Astonishingly easy to setup and with incredibly detailed sound, the AVX range is perfect for single operator crews through to corporate video production.
